Why we play

Held on International Men's Day — for the blokes who don't always say they're struggling.

Three in four suicides in Australia are men. Too many never put their hand up. This day takes something men already love — a round of golf with their mates — and turns it into a reason to show up, connect, and back a charity doing real work in mental health.

Every dollar raised goes to Human Nature Adventure Therapy, a Northern Rivers charity that uses the outdoors and adventure to help people build resilience, confidence and genuine connection — the stuff that keeps people well.

Show up

Last year was just the start

Our first year set the bar high.

Thirty teams. Perfect weather. An incredible spirit across the course — and a genuine sense that we'd started something worth coming back to. Here's where 2025 landed.

How the day runs

Breakfast, 18 holes, and a long lunch with your mates.

An ambrose-style team event built for a good time first — whether you're off scratch or just there for the carts and the cold ones.

01

Bacon & a shotgun start

Roll in for breakfast and coffee, sort the carts, and head out together for a shotgun start across the course.

02

18 holes of friendly chaos

Teams of four, ambrose format, novelty holes and on-course activations. Costumes strongly encouraged.

03

On-course activations

Drink carts, longest drive, nearest the pin and a few surprises waiting for you between the fairways.

04

Lunch & presentations

Come off the course for a proper feed, team prizes, and the wrap-up that everyone sticks around for.

05

Raffles & live auction

Major prizes, experiences and a roving raffle — all stacked to push the fundraising total up and up.

06

Entertainment

A light, fun finish to the day that keeps the room buzzing well after the last putt drops.
